Broadstone appoints actuarial director

Broadstone as appointed Andrew Walton as actuarial director.
Walton has experience working with trustees and corporate sponsors on scheme management and has led full scheme buyouts and wind-ups.
In the new role he will help develop Broadstone's consulting offering and services, including in relation to GMP equalisation.
Broadstone head of Midlands advisory Jeremy Clack said: "Andrew brings huge sector expertise and we're delighted to secure his talents at an important time in Broadstone's growth trajectory. We are seeing strong growth in the Midlands region, expanding to a bigger office in the centre of Birmingham and strengthening our team here with experienced industry talent."

Argyll Covenant hires Simon Kew

Employer covenant and insurer due diligence specialist Argyll Covenant has appointed Simon Kew as a senior consultant.
Kew was most recently head of market engagement at employee benefits consultancy Broadstone. Prior to this he held roles at Deloitte, The Pensions Regulator and has also provided advice and direction to several governments on UK pensions regulation.
Commenting on his appointment, Kew said: "I'm very pleased to be supporting Richard and the team at Argyll Covenant as the regulatory focus shifts, meaning trustees and sponsors must also adapt to the changed regime. Argyll Covenant are extremely well placed to help, so the decision to join was an exciting one."

TPT makes senior appointment

TPT Retirement Solutions has appointed Andrew Sheavyn as business development manager.
Sheavyn previously spent seven years at Smart Pension, most recently as business development director. Prior to this was a consultant at Capita Employee Solutions after beginning his career at Legal & General.
In the new role he will help with implementing and growing TPT's new defined contribution (DC) proposition as well as working on the introduction of the UK's first multi-employer collective DC (CDC) scheme.

SEI makes DC appointment

SEI has appointed Emma Skedgel as sales director of defined contribution (DC).
She joins the organisation from Legal & General Asset Management where she was business development director. Prior to this she held senior roles at Isio, KPMG, Barclays Wealth Managements and Punter Southall.
In the new role she will be responsible for building relationships with client whose employees benefit from the SEI Master Trust.
