UK - BNP Paribas has appointed Tony Osborn-Barker as global head of pensions as it seeks to demonstrate its commitment to the pensions sector.
Osborn-Barker, who left his position as head of investment services at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu to take on the role, will be based in London and will report directly to Mark Azzopardi, head of insurance and pensions within the fixed income division's Global Risk Solution Group (GRS).
Osborn-Barker had been at Deloitte's since 2000. Previously he had been a European partner at William H. Mercer and an investment actuary at Hewitt Bacon and Woodrow.
