SCOTLAND - The £6bn Glasgow-based Strathclyde Pension Fund has reappointed Hymans Robertson as its actuary following a Best Value review.
Hymans Robertson fought off competition from Watson Wyatt, William M Mercer and Bacon & Woodrow.
The review - initiated at the beginning of this year - came at a time when the firm's 10 year contract was coming to an end. The Strathclyde fund is administered by Glasgow City Council and allocates 80% to equities,12% to fixed-income, and 8% to property.
