UK - Mark Thompson has joined Friends, Ivory & Sime as a fund manager within its global equities team.
Thompson, formerly with Impax Capital, will have responsibility for researching global environmental technology companies. Specifically, Thompson will work with Karina Litvack’s governance and socially responsible investment team in researching companies that harness and use environmentally sustainable energy sources.
Prior to joining FIS, Thompson was assistant director of Impax’s corporate finance team. At Impax, he advised clients in the environmental technologies field.
