UK - Waste solutions company Sita UK is giving its 5000 employees access to voluntary benefits and online benefits information.
Both will be provided in an online package provided by youatwork, the employee benefits division of Barclays.
Sita UK head of pension and reward Natasha Heidarieh said: “Our benefits scheme will now be communicated more effectively and efficiently, enabling staff to keep track of their benefits and the exact value they are receiving while also saving valuable human resources time and resources.
“We have long recognised that if we want a well-motivated workforce, and to attract and retain the best, we need to reward our employees with more than just a basic salary.”
Putting benefits online will prove more efficient for Sita which has its employees spread across over 250 sites in the UK.
Females can expect to live a greater number of years in poor health than males, according to data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) for 2015 to 2017.
Scottish higher-rate taxpayers will benefit from more pensions tax relief than workers on the same salary anywhere else in the UK as income tax bands continue to diverge.
Schemes risk breaking the law and being forced to wind up as The Pensions Regulator (TPR) warns some may be master trusts but do not know so.
