UK - Private equity adviser VenCap International has promoted Tim Cruttenden to director of fund investments.
Cruttenden, who is based in Oxford, leads VenCap’s fund investment team – he joined VenCap in 1994 from the Association of British Insurers, where he was an economist and statistician.
He has since been directly involved with the investment of over £560m in 138 funds in the US and Europe.
VenCap founder and chairman Michael Ashall said: “Tim’s knowledge of the international private equity industry, the strength of his relationships with private equity firms in the US and Europe, the respect he has earned from investors and his investment track record have all contributed to this important decision.”
