UK - Universities Superannuation Scheme is looking to hire a new chief executive following the retirement of David Chynoweth.
Chynoweth – who has been with the scheme for nearly a decade – will stay on as a consultant until a permanent replacement is appointed, and will assist in the hand-over.
USS has appointed Tom Merchant as interim chief executive until the position is filled, probably by the end of the year.
USS chairman Graeme Davies said: “David has given tremendous service to the scheme since 1994 and we wish him well in what we trust will be a long and happy retirement.”
