UK - Gissings has been appointed by property consultancy Cluttons as adviser to its pension schemes and medical insurance following the release of Jardine Lloyd Thompson.
Gissings will provide actuarial and advisory services to Cluttons on its final salary pension plan, two group personal pension plans and a stakeholder scheme. The firm will also advise on life assurance and private medical insurance.
Lynda Neal, head of human resources at Cluttons, said: We were keen to consolidate all our advice with one provider who could deliver benefit advice in an integrated fashion. We were impressed by Gissings, its people, and their ability to deliver.
PwC, KPMG, EY and Deloitte must break up their consultancy and audit businesses into distinct firms to provide greater focus on the "most challenging and objective audits", the competition watchdog has said.
