UK/EUROPE - Investment Manager Selection (IMS) has appointed David Furlong as its sales and client servicing director.
Furlong was previously responsible for leading Standard & Poor’s Fund Research into Continental Europe.
Commenting on the appointment, IMS said: Three new [undisclosed] European accounts and the enquiries we are receiving from several major institutions in Europe give us confidence that Europe will be an important part of our future growth.
IMS is a multi-manager specialist company headed by Richard Timberlake, Nigel Slade and Peter O’Connor, and has an 8-strong team. Its advises on over £1.4bn of assets on behalf of life companies, banks, wealth management companies, asset management groups as well as family investment offices.
