UK - Robin FitzGeorge Balfour has joined fund of fund manager NIB International (NIBi) in London to head up its international institutional sales effort.
FitzGeorge Balfour draws upon more than 20 years experience in the financial services industry, of which 15 were spent with JP Morgan in London, Hong Kong and New York.
Most recently, FitzGeorge Balfour was co-head of sales at Altgate Capital which specialised in hedge fund research and hedge fund asset allocation. Prior to that he worked in investment advisory services at Coutts & Co in London with a special focus on alternative investments. He has extensive sales experience in a wide range of products and has covered institutional and HNWI client bases in North America, the Middle East, Far East and UK.
We are delighted to have Robin on board, said Andrew Lodge, managing director. It is apparent that there is a great deal of demand for the risk-adjusted products and rigorous investment process that NIBi has specialised in for some years.
“Robin’s wealth of experience, particularly in structuring solutions and in the hedge fund community, places us in an excellent position for 2002.”
