UK - The London Borough of Waltham Forest Pension Fund is to carry out a review of its overall investment strategy.
Group financial manager treasury and technical Malcolm Smith said: “We haven’t done a review for a long while and we felt we ought to do a complete review of our investment strategy in the light of the current actuarial results when we get them.”
Smith said the fund’s value had fallen by about £30m to just under £300m. The fall was due to poor equity returns but Smith said its performance had improved recently.
