UK - Sirius Financial Systems has appointed Ian Bullen to the newly-created role of chief executive, solutions business unit.
Bullen joins Sirius from Venturus – a management consultancy company – where he was a director.
He brings to this new role over 20 years of experience within IT, mostly within the financial services sector.
He has extensive knowledge of the insurance market, having been at Sherwood International, where he held the position of managing director of their general insurance software businesses.
The appointment of Ian Bullen strengthens the Sirius management team which was bolstered earlier this year by the promotion of Mike Dodd to chief executive, systems business unit, and the appointment of two new non-executive directors: David Cox and Mike Anstee.
