Scottish Widows Investment Partnership's property team has won two awards at this years Standard & Poor's UK Investment Funds Awards.
The Scottish Widows Investment Partnership property team took first place in two categories. Scottish Widows' property team beat 30 other funds to win the S&P One Year UK Individual Pension Fund award, as well as finishing ahead of 28 other funds to win the best One Year UK Insurance Fund Award, in the property sector.
Speaking about the awards, Tom Laidlaw, head of property at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, said: We are delighted to have won these prestigious awards especially ahead of such a strong field. It is testament to Scottish Widows Investment Partnership’s commitment to property investment and to the high standards that it achieves in this arena.
Currently, Scottish Widows Investment Partnership has £3.7bn under management. It was formed on July 1, 2000 following the merger of Scottish Widows Investment Management and Hill Samuel Asset management.
