UK - HSBC Asset Management has strengthened its European equities team with the appointment of Andrew Koch as senior fund manager.
Koch, who joins the firm from UBS Asset Management, will take up his new post at the end of the month. He will run institutional mandates for the firm and develop its fund management business.
Prior to his appointment, Koch was UBS Asset Management’s director of European portfolio construction. He will report to Chris Rice, HSBC’s head of European equities.
Rice said of Koch’s appointment: “Andrew's impressive track record of performance and analysis will make him a valuable and complementary addition to HSBC’s European equities team.”
