Silvia Wendlinger joins as investment manager for the UK and Europe small mid-cap team.
She will work with Maria Polycarpou on the continental small-mid cap unit trust and the Baring Europe Select Trust.
Wendlinger reports to Susannah Lloyd, head of small-mid cap team. She joins from Gartmore Investment Management.
Emily Matthews joins as an investment analyst with specific responsibilities for the energy and utilities sectors on a pan-European basis.
She reports to Simon Hallett, head of research. Previously, she worked as an equity researcher for Credit Suisse First Boston.
