UK - HSBC Securities has lost Richard Batty to Standard Life Investments.
Batty was global equity strategist at HSBC from 1995 to 2003. He will join Standard Life as global strategist on July 7 and report to Andrew Milligan, head of global strategy.
Keith Skeoch, chief investment officer at Standard Life, said: “Richard is the latest in a long line of talent to be drawn to Standard Life Investments since its inception four and a half years ago.
“This appointment reinforces both our commitment to in-house research and our determination to construct a truly global investment platform.”
