£228k bill for unwanted PPF cover

A small group of Television South West pensioners has been hit with a £228,000 bill for just 37 days' unwanted Pension Protection Fund cover, Osborne Clarke claims.

The law firm said the charge meant the TSW scheme - a small 141 member pension fund - has to pay the PPF the equivalent of £6100 per day of membership, or about £1800 each. Members of the closek...
