Zuhair Mohammed has been appointed as a partner at Lane Clark & Peacock (LCP) to expand its investment team.
He started at the firm on 1 November and joined from Aon Hewitt, where he headed both its insurance asset solutions and corporate investment advisory teams from 2012, and was chief executive of its delegated consulting business from 2007.
LCP head of investment Clay Lambiotte said Mohammed is a big name in the investment consultancy market.

Mohammed is a qualified actuary with over 20 years' experience across a range of institutional investors, which varied by asset size and geographic location.
He has been the lead investment advisor on several FTSE 100 and other large schemes, and specialises in developing asset strategies.

Prior to his roles at Aon Hewitt, Mohammed worked at P-Solve Asset Solutions from 2004 for three years, Alexander Clay & Partners from 1997 for seven years, Noble Lowndes & Partners from 1990 for seven years, and Scottish Widows Management Funds from 1988 to 1990.
Mohammed's hire comes after LCP appointed ten others to partner positions in April.
