US - There has been a sharp decline in the health of US pension funds in the final quarter of 2007, according to UBS Global Asset Management.
Attributed to lower equity markets and interest rates, UBS said the overall health of a typical US defined benefit pension plan, showed pension funding ratios fell 8% in Q4 2007 from 109% to 101%. ...
