ABP, CalPERS post strong 2009 returns

GLOBAL - Dutch pension provider ABP and US pension fund California Public Employees' Retirement System posted 2009 results of 20.2% and 11.8% respectively.

The €208bn (US$293.1bn) ABP said the return for the second half of 2009 was 15.1%. The scheme's coverage ratio was 104% at the end of 2009. The ratio had reached 109%, but had to be revised down...
