Punter Southall has promoted Sarah Brown and Wendy Fitzpatrick to principals.
Brown and Fitzpatrick, who were both senior consultants, started in their new roles on 1 January.
Brown (pictured above) joined the consultancy in 2001 and leads on its research into scheme funding. She also develops alternative models for setting discount rates, and is an expert on upcoming changes to pension tax.
Fitzpatrick (pictured right) joined Punter Southall in 1997 and provides consultancy work on defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) schemes. She advises schemes and sponsors on funding and investment.
Both Brown and Fitzpatrick are now members of the firm's senior management team.
Chief executive John Batting welcomed the promotions.
He said: "The promotions reflect not only the strength in depth of our team at Punter Southall, but also our commitment to nurturing and rewarding talent and achievement. In strengthening our senior management in this way, we can continue to provide an unrivalled service to our clients, and to face future challenges with confidence."
