TPT Retirement Solutions has named Simon Hart as trustee services delivery manager, taking over from Mike Furbank who left for The Trustees Office in March.
Hart, who joined at the beginning of April, will act on behalf of the trustee when consulting with employers on scheme funding and changes, and will be based in the firm's Leeds office.
He joins from Mercer where he has worked with defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) schemes since 1987.
Head of trustee services Karen Parry welcomed Hart's experience: "We are committed to delivering the best possible service to our members and employers and Simon is an important addition to the TPT team.
"The quality and effectiveness of TPT's governance is an important consideration for any scheme considering joining TPT and Simon's experience in this area will be invaluable as we continue to grow and take on more DB schemes."
Hart started his career at Noble Lowndes as an administrator in 1987, and later became a team manager. Following the firm's merger to become Sedgwick Noble Lowndes in 1997, he joined the consulting team, and then after the firm's acquisition by Mercer in 1999, he became a consultant and relationship manager.
