The trustee board of the Plumbing and Mechanical Services (UK) Industry Pension Scheme has launched a consultation with sponsoring employers on closing the scheme to future accrual.
A booklet was sent to the scheme's 360 participating employers on 20 July, proposing to end future benefit accrual "no sooner than 30 June 2019", and invited "as many as many employers as possible"...
