A Professional Pensions webinar looking at the Pension Protection Fund’s (PPF) 2023 Purple Book is now live to listen to on demand.

In an exclusive webinar at 10am on 6 December (see video above or view it here), PP editor Jonathan Stapleton was joined by PPF chief actuary & interim chief financial officer Shalin Bhagwan; PPF actuary James Emmott; head of actuarial financial management Aaron Pang; and actuary Maria Graney to discuss the latest edition.

It looked at the latest trends revealed by The Purple Book as well and asked questions about how the industry would be impacted by these trends.

The annual survey of scheme finances paints a holistic picture of the risks posed by UK defined benefit schemes protected by the PPF - giving an idea of the latest trends in scheme de-risking, asset allocation, and membership, among numerous other areas.
