Cosan Consulting has hired John Reeve as a director, after he had worked at Premier for nine years.
Reeve, who was a senior consultant at Premier, joined the employee benefits administration consulting firm as director on 1 August.
He will work with Cosan's two other directors Ian Bloxham and Philip Dickinson to provide consulting, administration and governance services to trustee boards and sponsoring employers.
Cosan was set up in 2013 by Boxham and Dickinson, who are former members of Aon Hewitt's third-party administration team. The consultancy aims to help trustees focus on member satisfaction, mitigate risk, and improve governance.
Speaking to PP, Reeve said: "I am excited by the level of experience and the range of tools that we can offer trustees and companies to meet their needs. We can help with all aspects of managing pensions and employee benefit packages and we have a unique offering in terms of employee education.
"We can play a big part in helping to ensure that members have a better retirement and that employers manage their benefit package efficiently through the current challenging times."
Dickinson added Reeve's appointment would help expand Cosan's client reach.
"We are delighted to welcome John to the Cosan team. His experience and industry insight is a great addition to our firm, and allows us to extend further the consulting services we can offer our clients.
"This is an exciting time for Cosan and John will play a key role in helping direct the growth of our business over the next few years."
Reeve was director and trustee of Curzon Cinema between 2007 and 2015, trustee at Raising Standards of Pensions Administration from 2005 to 2009, and chief operating officer at Hazel Carr from 2002 to 2004.
