New guilty plea in multi-million-pound fraud case

A man charged with defrauding pension scheme members out of £13.7m of their savings has pleaded guilty to the offence in court today (14 January).

Alan Barratt had previously pleaded not guilty to the charge of fraud by abuse of position, which is alleged by The Pensions Regulator (TPR) to have taken place between 2012 and 2014. The watchdog also...
