UK/NETHERLANDS - Dick de Beus (pictured), the outgoing chairman of the Dutch pension fund PGGM, has been appointed to the F&C Board as independent non-executive director with immediate effect. After 25 years with PGGM, de Beus is expected to retire as chairman of the e53bn Dutch pension fund shortly. He will continue as a consultant to the fund following his retirement. Robert Jenkins, chief executive officer at F&C said: "Our mission is to build a leading, pan-European asset management company. Two thirds of our revenues already come outside the UK and we look forward to continued strong growth.
