UK - Trustees of the Manganese Bronze Holdings pension scheme have agreed a reduction in the company's monthly contributions. Payments will be reduced by £25,000 to £100,000 from January.
The company has a DB scheme – the Manganese Bronze Group Pension Scheme which was closed to new members in 1995 – and a DC scheme, Account Plus. The schemes are currently valued at around £25m.
