UK - The Wesleyan Assurance Society has announced a free asset ratio more than 30% higher than any of the top 20 life assurers.
Wesleyan had a free asset ratio – or a spare cash ratio – of 15.8% at the end of last year. Experts suggest a free asset ratio of around 12%is needed to keep up a healthy bonus policy.
