UK - Plunging stock markets have pushed the total FRS17 pension scheme deficit for UK firms through the £70bn barrier, new research by Watson Wyatt claims.
Its study shows 90% of firms have an FRS17 deficit, with the deficit among FTSE100 firms alone standing at £35bn – a massive £10bn higher than figures released by Lane Clark & Peacock last week. ...
