UK - Former Marconi finance director John Mayo has ended the long-running dispute over his pension by settling for an £800,000 payout.
The telecoms company would not confirm the size of the settlement but said that an “amicable” agreement had been reached. Mayo had originally claimed a £1.6m top-up to his pension settlement.
