UK - Nearly three million people receive the pension credit, figures released by the department for work and pensions show.
The DWP’s figures show that 2.6m people received the pension credit – which guarantees a minimum of £102.10 for everyone over the age of 60 – by January 31, 83,000 more than at the start of the month.
