UK- The aggregate funding position of defined benefit (DB) funds in the UK worsened for the third consecutive month in January, the Pension Protection Fund has estimated.
Releasing its monthly PPF 7800 index, showing the state of DB pension scheme funding for almost 7,800 funds, the PPF said the deficit widened to £61.2bn (US$119.3bn), from £19.6bn in December 2007....
